FROM THIS ANGLE: PHOTOGRAPHS brings together hallowed squares, summit landmarks, and verdant crannies, offering a curious glimpse into the overlooked and often unwonted charm and evocative natural beauty of both the Ancient and Modern World.
Each featured photograph—hand picked from Michael Whitton's personal archive, and uniquely presented in a non-journalistic approach—focuses on more than 170 cities and towns throughout Northern, Western, and Southern Europe, and New Zealand during his extensive visits from 2003-2007.
FROM THIS ANGLE: PHOTOGRAPHS is an eclectic digest of distinctive travel moments, bursting with inspiring postcard images of life around a corner, down an alley, and beyond the conventional tourist path.

Los Angeles, California
MICHAEL WHITTON was born and raised with his talented family of two brothers and three sisters in Reno, Nevada, where he experimented with shadows and light; but didn't start taking pictures until the opportunity to travel abroad presented itself.
Michael's photographs have garnered a number of prestigious awards, gained global exposure through a travel magazine, accented public spaces in Los Angeles, and featured as CD cover art for indie bands and solo artists (including himself).
Mr. Whitton resides in Pasadena and Glendale, California, where he divides his time up between numerous creative projects. He currently shoots with a Nikon D200.
