Rebecca Kelly Ballet

Rebecca Kelly Ballet, from New York City, has developed OnStage, a unique dance performance training program in upstate New York celebrating its 20th year in 2007. Through its outreach programs Rebecca Kelly Ballet seeks to open doors and to bring dance everywhere, and unite communities which foster the love of dance. The popular OnStage summer training performance camp originated at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts in 1987. RKB’s activities have since spread throughout the northern Adirondack Park area. In this winsome and sensiitve behind-the-scenes look at the 2007 program, photograher Todd Bissonette shows a rare, intimate, and heartwarming view of the professional dancers and eager young students during training, rehearsals, and images from the student performance at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts as a culmination of two weeks of intensive study with Rebecca Kelly Ballet.
