Eileen Nauman (aka Lindsay McKenna) met Susan Hamilton of High Country Raptors while researching a book on raptor rehabilitation. Susan was kind enough to take time from her very busy schedule as a rehabber, to show her the inside of a fascinating and wonderful world of saving raptors. Eileen's book, DANGEROUS PREY, HQN, will come out in 2008 but she wanted to take her Nikon shot photos and create a book for Susan and her intrepid students who help her, as a way to say thank you for her time and what she does to keep our world GREEN. Susan Hamilton is a teacher and educator, bringing young people into falconry and rehabilitation of raptors. She also gives talks with her raptors to schools, organizations and clubs in an effort to show how important raptors are to the healthy balance of our Earth. Her passion is saving raptors. Her love is passing on the joy of watching these beautiful raptors flying free once more.
