What you hold in your hands is Noisy Nora by Rosemary Wells as re-imagined by Carol Arieff. Carol did the drawings and lettering for a childrens' book
illustration class she took in Los Angeles circa 1972. In the original book,
mischievous Nora and her family are mice; here, Carol has drawn a family
portrait of herself, her daughters Adrienne and Allison, and their father
Allen (plus the imaginary son "Jack" as in the original). The less capable
scribbles in the book's last few pages are from the hand of Allison, who was
then about 6 years old.

Allison has kept this hand-drawn, hand-glued project in her care for over
thirty years and is thrilled to see it in real book form. Enjoy.
