Artists Cal Haines and Victoria Rogers collaborated to create a contemporary look at the old architecture of buildings in downtown Santa Fe's McKenzie Historic Neighborhood. The photographic images reinterpretted through digital processes stand alone as fine art but collectively give definition to the styles prevalent in the late-1800s and early-1900s when this area was settled by merchants and powerful entrepreneurs from Europe and the Midwest. Details unique to the structures are documented in a text by City of Santa Fe Historic Division contributor David A. Rasch. This book is a treasure both for the imaginative visions and informative content, plus other fun design and color innovation.
