About the Book
I think that black and white photographs really emphasize composition and texture. They have a mood about them that I love.

About the Creator
Anne Elkins
Anacortes, WA
I have been interested in photography my whole life, ever since my first Brownie camera. My love of nature is reflected in my favorite subjects: landscapes, seascapes, animals, plants, trees and flowers. I also enjoy boats, buildings, and working with abstracts, macros, and graphic design. Originally from the Chicago area, I attended college in Minnesota, and have lived in Utah and California before moving to in Anacortes in 2002, I was an art major, which has influenced my approach to photography. I love reading, gardening and walks with my dog, and enjoying life with my husband, Bob.
