California Woodies

Come on a journey across the golden state of California with Bill Gerrard as he shares his love of wooden bodied automobiles "woodies" in a unique collection of images captured up and down the coast, in the central valley and in the mountains of California.

Most woodies can be found along the west coast of the United States due to their prior history with surfers and the fact that the weather is more mild making it easier for these old wooden cars to survive the elements.
