Little is known for certain about the self-described "photo-surrealistic" artist who calls himself "Daniel Milberg".
Born in Belgium (or Luxembourg) in 1899 (or 1897), he apparently fled the Balkans (perhaps the Urals) sometime after World War I (or II) to avoid questioning by the French Sûreté (and/or Scotland Yard) about his involvement in the "XYZ Affair" (or possibly the "Zimmerman Telegram" controversy).
His books are quite rare and are owned primarily by serious collectors and high school classmates.
