About the Book
Naomi Chernoff, M.D. was a beloved, talented and inspirational, assistant professor, teacher and mentor at SUNY Upstate Medical University in the Department of Psychiatry from 2004 to 2008.
She was deeply loved by her students.
This book is a compilation of remembrances written by some of her students. What she has taught us by example will remain vividly in our hearts throughout our lives and in our work with others. If we can live up to half of whom she was, then we will have done well in having lived a life full of character, love and integrity and that always has the other in mind.
All profits will go to the Naomi Chernoff, MD Memorial Fund to support artistry in Psychiatry Residency Training.
