I have been traveling in Central America for several years and in 2007 spent just over a week in the middle of the rainforest enjoying the Canal, the old city of Panama, toucans, crocodiles, exotic local cuisine, and long hikes deep into the jungles of Panama where howler monkeys come out to greet you only to be disturbed by flocks of toucans and other exotic birds.
