About the Book
This project evolved in real time on Facebook. My Facebook “friends” got to watch as images were added irregularly.
An arbitrary set of conditions governed the project. The “rules” as I set them out were:
1. All gloves must be found in situ, no altering the scene allowed.
2. The gloves were left in place.
3. Natural available light only.
4. iPhone camera only.
This marks the first book of 100. More are to follow. The project was inspired by
"One thing is an object, two things are a pair. Three make a collection, and 100 things become art. " Robert Rindler, Dean of the School of Art at Cooper Union.
