About the Book
This is a book of paintings based on many year's of knowing the Lake District but only recently seeing it afresh through the words of Wordsworth's poetry. After 18 months of visiting Wordsworth's favourite places the resulting paintings were hung at Wordsworth's last home, Rydal Mount near Ambleside in Cumbria. A must for any fan of the great man's poetry - uplifting, haunting, moody and beautiful. The paintings are matched throughout the book with the poetry which inspired them.
