About the Book
Peter Banks taught English Literature at a private school in England until very recently. To relax after a hard time at school, he would write short poems before he went to bed, usually after a bottle of wine. This book contains part of his collection. These poems and prose passages are not pretentious 'works of art', but just observations on life that may make you smile and occasionally laugh. My God, one or two may even touch you and make you cry.

Leicester, England.
I was born in Liverpool and knew the Beatles when I was young. I must have seen them at least 200 times at the Cavern. I was also a small part of the Liverpool poetry scene in the 60s. I was a part of the sex, drugs and rock and roll era but I didn't try all that hard. I'm still alive.
