This large 11x13 inch book, bazaar/ curiosities, started as a casual stop at an old roadside antique shop, and turned into a photographic exploration of objects and memory. I'm interested in what these places contain - objects that have a history. The curious thing about these objects is that their ties to the past have been broken, they have become orphans, so to speak.
Each object has their history written on them in some small way. The past is folded into them, they carry traces of their past into the present. These are things that live outside of language, yet tell rich stories.
