About the Book
San Francisco PanoPlanets, is a collection of some of my favorite PanoPlanets taken in and around San Francisco, California.
The images are all full 360° panoramas of a given scene that have then been transformed into PanoPlanets using primarily one of two methods; Stereographic projection and rectangular to polar conversions. Additionally many of these images are tone mapped high dynamic range (HDR) images which in turn are made by shooting multiple exposures then combining in post processing.
Each of these images can take between fifteen and forty five minutes to shoot the individual photographs to capture the scene. Then there may be between three to six hours of post processing to get the images to their final formats.
