About the Book
Virginia was born December 31, 1922 in Elkland, Pennsyvlania to Charles and Bessie. In September 1941, Virginia (Ginny) married William in Hornby, New York. They survived the depression and lived a simple life, striving to provide for their family. In March 1942, their first child, Patricia, was born. And, the children kept coming until Everett, the last of seven children, was born in 1966.
Virginia is remembered by all as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Simple things like baking, sewing, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends were the things she treasured most.
This book is a collection lovingly compiled and shared by friends and family of Virginia Steves. She was loved by all and dearly missed by the contributors to this memoir. Virginia may no longer reside on this earth, but she is still with us in many ways.
