About the Creator
About the Author: Rick's interest in nature & wildlife has spanned a lifetime and he uses his photography as a way of expressing his love and respect for his subjects. The goal is to create photographs that inspire and stimulate the viewer. Rick says, "The best thing about being a photographer is that you have the opportunity to be in the field to observe a small part of what nature has to offer". He believes it is the experience of being there that matters most. His work as a freelance photographer and writer has appeared in books, magazines, newspapers, calendars, greeting cards, galleries, corporate offices, and has been featured in a national advertising campaign. He has also participated in the creation of television programs showing how to photograph wildlife.
