About the Book
Between Maine, Arizona, Mexico , and Cuba, I found these old cars abandoned in some fields, or along the roads. Some of them went cross country, probably more than once, becoming the incarnation of someone's life , and desires.
Work, vacations, leisure, they all embrace the American dream.
We can still feel their soul, their music, their sweat when we approach them.
That 's what I am inviting you to feel through these pictures.
Imagine. Smell. Listen. Open your eyes.
There is love. Lots of love here down these roads.

Washington DC USA
Claire Bouleau is a journalist and photographer. Born in Paris France, she lives in Washington DC. With two decades working in TV journalism, Bouleau’s work features strong narrative structure and sense of story telling. She also injects her work with a passion for good design. Bouleau’s work focuses primarily on landscape and humankind’s relationship with the natural world. Photo-Graffiti continues her commitment to nature while exploring the urban landscape. Textures, feelings, and moods are conveyed through ordinary objects, persons or a simple palette of colors. Bouleau’s photographs often disassociate image from the context, engaging the viewer to confront their emotional response head on.
