About the Book
I picked up my first Holga camera while living in Santa Cruz, California in 2003. Since that time the little plastic wonder has become a permanent resident in my bag of gear, traveling with me everywhere from vacations in far away lands to treks through the back yard. Experimenting with its unpredictable idiosyncrasies has been an invaluable lesson in learning to alter my viewpoint.
This book is a collection of images captured over the course of the last 7 years, from various locations within California, Washington and the island of Jamaica. My goal with this publication is to showcase contrast, not only in the individual prints themselves, but also in how the subjects relate to each other.
