This collection of photographs and poems is all about relationships.
Sometimes the photograph acted as inspiration, as in “Vanished View” and “Gypsy.” Sometimes it is a beautiful accompaniment, like the snow-covered mailboxes in Vermont that were photographed on the day the chronologically earliest poem was written. On one page the photograph was the springboard for the poem, on the next it was the response. There are explanations, and there are mysteries, and there are at least two puns!
