About the Book
-adjective
"resembling or employing the simple rectilinear or curvilinear lines or figures used in geometry."
GEOMETRICS is shapes and lines: squares, rectangles, circles, and most particularly triangles. Maybe even a rhomboid or two, if you look. The building blocks: line, curve, edge.
All of of it washed in color.
GEOMETRICS is a collection of nineteen images. Sitting in equipoise between realism and abstraction, these images employ the simple rectilinear and curvilinear lines and figures used in geometry. The result is, perhaps, not so simple.
Is it a coincidence that nineteen is a prime number?

About the Creator
I'm a a fine art photographer living in Arlington, Virginia. A member of the Touchstone Gallery in Washington, D.C., I've appeared in over forty juried shows in the Washington D.C., Virginia, and Maryland area, and many of my images have won awards. When not out shooting or riding a roller coaster, I can be found at Studio 330 in the Torpedo Factory Art Center. My subjects are an eclectic mix, including the architecture of Las Vegas, roller coasters, and rusted metal objects. Although I began life as a black and white photographer, I am now most known for color work, much of which features vibrant and intense color. I still do a fair amount of traditional realistic photography, but in recent years my vision has taken an more more abstract turn
