About the Book
This book is a collection of photographs I took on my first ever trip to Alaska. I spent the first part of my trip on a Bear Photo Tour at Redoubt Mountain Lodge in Lake Clark National Park with professional photographer Nick Fucci. The scenery there is simply incredible and the bear photo opportunities were limitless. I was eager to see more of Alaska but didn't want to leave the wonderful place I was at. Once I did finally depart the lodge my wife and I made our way to Denali National Park and the scenery was every bit amazing as I had seen in so many photographs before. The best part of the trip to Denali was the day we took the bus trip into the park and there wasn't a cloud in the sky, and we were told that it was the best day to view the mountain since April and here it is the middle of Aug. Only about 20% of visitors to the park ever actually see the mountain so I felt extremely blessed to see it like we did. We left denali and made our way to Seward down on the coast were we took a wildlife cruise into Kenai Fjords National Park were we saw more than we could have even hoped for. The only problem with this adventure being so wonderful was it is now in direct competition with Yellowstone National Park for my favorite place to go. Hope you enjoy the book as much as I enjoyed taking the photogrpahs.
