About the Book
Some people who know me say I paint with words when I write and I think it is sometimes true. The poems here mostly do not fit into formal schemes.
Wordsworth said that to write poetry you need to be deeply involved emotionaly not only for recent experiences but also for those remembered from the past.
Every one of my poems was born because of an emotional state of mind.
For example: 'Night Magic'.includes many sensations. A painting I once saw showing the back gardens of a row of houses at twilight: How they were sillouetted against the sky in the background, the lights in some of the rooms, the luminosity of the flowers in the foreground.
My two white cats playing in the garden just after sun down.
Just to mention two.
