~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This book is a look into the world that I have become a part of. It’s the faces of family, of friends, of people I have met, and of people I love. I am proud to know them and to have learned from them. I came up with the title because these people have more imagination and intellect than many “sighted” people I have come across in my lifetime. It confounds me that there are some people in this world that think if a person is unable to see they are also unable to be independent, educated, and wise beyond their years. The people featured in this book have vision far beyond many can hope to have. They have made my life richer and more complete because of what they have shared with me. I share them with you now so that you too may take a closer look into the eyes of the visually impaired world.
About the Creator
I was born and raised in New Jersey. I also spent time visiting family and friends all over the country. I am currently a Senior at William Paterson University. I am in the BFA program with a concentration in Photography. Throughout my life I have looked at the world differently than others. I always wanted to capture people, places, and moments that most pass by in order to bring them to light. Sometimes we travel too fast and never take the time to see the world around us. In my art I try to find the things that are ignored and make it so they can no longer be overlooked.
