This is a glimpse of one person’s years of survival through writing. In these pages are private writings from preteen to adulthood…the result of deep, restless thoughts in the late, midnight hours. Some of the entries may be painful to read, but I brought them together in the hopes that others might identify with them and find their own means of coping with being a survivor.

One reader has emailed me to say her healing from childhood abuse has been "like a peeling of an onion, and this book has peeled off one more layer."

Making a positive difference in someone's life is a blessing we should all strive for. I thank her for her wonderful comment!
