This book is a photographic presentation of my area of Wolverhampton, England, in my own eyes. Its a pretty negative and dull place to all senses; whether it's the sounds, smells or just the general sight. Over the last six months I have photographed my area to try and create a positive outlook on a negative place. Flowers only grow in dirt and so, this is my positive product, from a negative place, i hope you enjoy it.

Hi, i'm a 19 year old student, studying art and design in birmingham. I have a growing passion for photography and try to work with as many other photographers and artists to gain new ideas, and help others with theirs.
My main photographic influences would have to be guy bourdin. I came across his work within the last year and couldnt believe most of the photos i saw were from the 70's as they look so modern.
I'm always trying to improve my photographic technique and take my camera out with me as often as I can. I have one book out at the moment ( more to come hopefully ) about my the area i have lived in for the last 19 years. Creating my book has made me appreciate my surroundings more, and think harder before i point and click.
