The Rickshaw Run
From the southern tip of India to the Himalayan foothills of Nepal. The 2008 Rickshaw Run challenged some of the worlds most hardened adventurers ... and we were there too.
On the 1st of January 2008, after much pomp and ceremony, we jumped into our less than trusty rickshaw, revved its engine, and then kangaroo jumped over the start line, before stalling it, cursing it, kicking it and finally cajoling it in a somewhat northerly direction for a couple of thousand miles.
Some two weeks later we spluttered into Kathmandu in Nepal, closely followed by Delhi-belly, malaria and altitude sickness. Well okay, maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but we had oodles of adventure, and here's the proof.
