This book contains pictures of two of the Dutch "Wadden" islands (Ameland and Schiermonnikoog). Only a 45 minute drive from my hometown Haren in the Netherlands. These islands are my favorite getaway throughout the year.
If it's for a day or two weeks, these islands fill you with a natural calm... and you'll find an inner silence in observing the ever changing coastline, in the bikerides facing the Northsea winds, in the daily ritual of simply wandering. Here one can walk, stand still and stare, take pictures or just dream... everything is fine.
