About the Book
A quick visual walk through some of the avian residents of coastal North Carolina, mostly during the fall and winter months of 2010, captured by a local resident at some well-known locations in the area. The author does his best to refrain from making the narrative overly technical, as it is not intended as a field guide, but more a coffee table book that can easily hold the attention of almost anyone, whether interested in birds or not.

About the Creator

I was born and raised in Coastal North Carolina, hailing from Pender County. For the past twenty years I have been in the IT Field, but have only recently developed a real passion for Nature Photography. Specifically, I enjoy capturing the macro world of insects and other tiny creatures that, although all around us on a daily basis, most people never pay any attention to. I enjoy bringing images of these things to a standstill, and getting close enough to allow the average person an opportunity to see and enjoy the beauty and detail that exists, unrealized by them, often only a few feet away.
