About the Book
How sweet it was. Brooklyn! When you go back to the old neighborhood you will be greeted with a "Whereyabin?" At the end of the 20th Century many of us said Jersey. Then the inevitable question comes..."What exit?" This is a book about growing up in Brooklyn, the love of family, moving to Jersey and of course cooking and eating. There are over thirty five old school recipes, most of them Italian by way of Brooklyn. So pour yourself a glass of wine. Put on some Frank Sinatra and start cooking. As my Grandma Monti used to say hearty appetite!

About the Creator
Edward Monti
Howell, New Jersey USA
I am a 40 something average guy who was born and raised in Brooklyn. I value my faith, my family and my country. I love dogs, especially my Great Pyrenees rescue and all animals. I love to eat and I love to cook. I am proud of my ethnic culture and this is my way of sharing a little bit about my growing up in Brooklyn, my wonderful family and my love of cooking. So many people ask me for recipes after they eat something I prepared. I thought this would be a great way to memorialize them. I hope you enjoy my story and the recipes.
