The Pittsburgh Cricket Association is a non-profit charity corporation organized for charitable purposes to further the sport of cricket in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. The specific purposes for which this corporation is organized are: To promote, encourage, foster and cultivate interest in the sport of cricket; To initiate, sponsor, promote and carry out plans, policies and activities that would further the development and advancement of cricket in Pittsburgh and North Eastern PA;
The author, Shailesh Bokil currently serves as the President of the Pittsburgh Cricket Association and is a avid player and supporter of the sport.
"The Philadelphia International Cricket Festival is an annual sporting charity event staged during the first weekend in May to: promote cricket in the region, encourage national and international sporting ties, and support Youth Development through charitable donations".

Pittsburgh C.C has been a participant in 2006 and 2007, making an appearance in the Finals in 2007 and we look forward to being a part of this showcase event for many years to come......
