About the Book
Following an absolute fascination with life itself, these images are taken from across England and a story of individuality, interaction, dependency & familiarity unfolds. Everyone will recognise something in these pages.
For the explorer of photography & of who we are, there is a deeper thread of intrigue, observation and occasionally, comment. Sometimes lighthearted, sometimes holding melancholy.
This work takes the ordinary and contemplates it all. The result is a portrait of how remarkable we are as we move through our remakable landscapes.

Started with art in 2002. Moved to Cumbria, The Lake District - one of the most beautiful places on the planet and the people are great too! Qualified as a teacher in 1979 and although I have moved around most of my life, I hope to spend the rest of my days in The Lake District, England. I am currently studying an MA in photography - very challenging and fantastic too. I also paint in acrylics and oils and am often up at dawn or out in the day just living!
