I was raised in a Christian home by parents who both served as pastors and missionaries. They say that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and sure enough, God gave me a heart for missions as well. In 2009 I got the opportunity to travel the world over the course of 11 months. Doing community service in 19 countries across the Caribbean, South East Asia, Southern Africa and Eastern Europe.

I have always loved poetry and started writing my own at the age of 10. After writing a set of goals, there was one that stood out and that was to get a book published, Whether that be a poetry book or any other book. So, this is the beginning of that dream unfolding. I plan to write many poetry books, a children's book or two and maybe even a couple photo books. Did I mention I love photography too? I guess I just have a heart for the arts.
