About the Book
Sailing on the Spirit of Enderby in December 2010 we ventured through the Sub-Antarctic Islands on the way to Commonwealth Bay in East Antarctica. This book is a memento for passengers on that trip, with over 140 images of landscapes, wildlife and our little ship that braved the ice.
Some sections are presented in Black & White to balance the natural beauty of this wilderness with an artistic eye. Other scenes reveal the natural colour palette of Antarctica - deep greys with subtle shades of blue. Collections are included from some of the New Zealand sub-Antarcitc islands too, plus a special set of Albatross images taken on and around Campbell Island.
