March 2007: The Grand Theatre was closed. Ouborg Monumenten Vastgoed bought and renovated it since then. 28 April 2011: Grand re-opening in Grandeur style.

Fotograaf Melanie Rijkers (MeRy) maakte dit portret van het Grand Theatre in Breda net na de sluiting in maart 2007. Zelf kwam ze in haar studententijd (jaren '90) ook vaak naar dit kleine theater en zag ze er menig film.
"Gelukkig hebben we de foto's nog!" (zoals die typische jaren '70 verbouwing maar ook de prachtige jaren '20 'Grote Zaal' vastgelegd zoals die in 2007 was :)
