A series of paintings and sketches of the English coast - Cornwall, Devon, Yorkshire and Norfolk - I love the changing light and colours of the coast through different seasons, times of day and weather, Always changing and always interesting. Here are paintings of misty days, blue summer days, winter storms, cold winter days, rain, evenings, sunsets, moonrise and hot days,
I work in a wide variety of media - oils, acrylics, mixed media, watercolour, pastel. collagraphs, etchings, pencil, charcoal, coloured pencils and more. I choose the medium that will give me the marks and visual language I need to catch a particular scene, trying to show the wind, sound and atmosphere and the feel of a particular place.
Works here range from 40 inch square canvasses to 5 inch collagraphs.
