Mathew Scott was born and raised in Portland Oregon. He then moved to San Francisco where he attended the Academy of Art. He still lives and works in the Bay Area, traveling around looking for the obvious scenery, that we always pass by and think nothing of. His work brings out the subtle hints of sarcasm that can be found in the everyday life of the average American. You can find his images in Upper Playground's Back Yard Shakedown, Vice Magazine Photo Annual, GQ, Risen, XXL, and XLR8R
