A photographic documentaion of Agent Orange victims in Southern Vietnam by photojournalist Michael Carroll.
Agent Orange was a chemical defoliant used by the US military in Vietnam during the Vietnam war. The chemicals used included dioxin- the most toxic chemical knownn to science. As a result thousands of people have suffered birth defects and even today a third generation of victims are born with awful conditions including deformities, spina bifida, blindness, cancer, without or with extra limbs and severely handicapped.
To date, the Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange have recieved no compensation from the US government or corporations responsible for the manufacture of the chemicals.
