This is an effort to capture the thoughts, images and words of those who attended Project Homeless Connect 2008, held in Lane County Oregon. For one day hundreds of volunteers and over a thousand guests worked at the difficult problem of homelessness, offering services and accepting them. Extensive interviews with guests are included; getting their honest thoughts and experiences while on the street was the highest priority for this book.
