A project which started in 2003 has appeared as a book in 2011 to raise money for the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Appeal. South Wales photographer Rhys Jones was invited to Japan in March 2011 and arrived the day before the most powerful earthquake ever recorded in Japan struck and devastated the North East region of Japan in the area around Sendai. The aftershocks were felt in Tokyo.
