Iconic Unknowns

By Emerson Castro   emerson3

Tags: , , , , ,

This book is comprised of over 400 color photos taken in various high-density cities around the world. We're focusing on particular works of architecture that deserve the name 'icon' and have this influence on our culture. Everybody knows these, but almost because they're icons, people don't look below the fact of what they are. In fact, the photographs in this book tell a story. Their compositions and sequential arrangement tantalize the viewer to keep turning the page. Most every photograph is coupled with an inspirational quote since the wisdom of the wise and the experience of ages is preserved by quotations. Like Joseph Roux once said, “A fine quotation is a diamond on the finger of a man of wit, and a pebble in the hand of a fool.”
