About the Book
Mrs Cat and her kittens don't realise what they are taking on when they decide to make shortbread to surprise Tabitha. A delicious and simple recipe follows the story of what they get up to.
Tabitha's first animal noise was an excited "riaouw riaouw". She makes it each time she sees a cat, which is often long before anyone else does.
Mrs Cat Makes Shortbread was created by her mother to combine Tabitha's appreciation of cats and of homemade shortbread. The book is also to give Tabitha different ways in which to enjoy a recipe which was her great-great-Grandmother's.

About the Creator
Catherine's daughter, Tabitha, has inspired three books. The Kiwi and the Woodland Crocodile was created to celebrate her first birthday in November 2010. The Bear Whose Coat Was Too Thin was created for Tabitha to take with her when she started going to a nursery in January 2011. Mrs Cat Makes Shortbread was created because of Tabitha's appreciation for both cats and shortbread, and to give her new ways of enjoying her great-great-Grandmother's delicious shortbread recipe.
