One day in late 2006, after almost 23 years as an uninspired Artist/Photographer, I unintentionally created my first visionary artwork - an image called ‘Oppressed’. This dark and sinister work seemed to sum up my depressing and lack filled life. Little did I know that this image would become an icon of hope for me and the starting point to an awakening that life is indeed what you make it. I found it was true that I was indeed the creator of the world I was choosing to inhabit, not the helpless victim of circumstance.
This art has changed my perception of the world and in so doing opened up a host of possibilities my closed mind never even knew existed.
