In 2009, visual artist Amy Guion Clay cut the moorings of her anchored life in Colorado to explore her creative process in the context of the world at large. Curious about how the changing environment would impact her personal and creative freedom, she lived and worked in artist residencies around the world for 2 years, and she continues to enjoy the gypsy life of an artist without borders.
