Some might call this body of work a cross of multiple photographic genres; street, architecture, urban/industrial landscapes, discarded items, interior photography. I just call it "My Brooklyn". Though you will get a glimpse of some Brooklyn landmarks it's a personal project of what Brooklyn means to me.
As with most my work I’m searching for urban and vernacular beauty where color, geometric shapes, and space play important roles with subtexts of time and identity.

I’m a Brooklyn based photographer originally from Sweden. Most of my personal work shares my vision of vernacular beauty. My work process is generally intuitive and my photographic voice could be described as urban, colorful, graphic, and quiet. Mood and atmosphere are more important than decisive moments.
Formally, I am interested in the study of color, geometric shapes, and spatial relationships. My personal work is often void of people with strong subtexts of time, identity, and memory.
My commercial focus is on Travel and Architectural photography.

The images are great but even greater is the cohesion of the overall work. From a personal viewpoint, it's interesting that Henry Miller heads your list of celebrities who hail from Brooklyn. One day I would like to visit Williamsburg to see where he grew up. Maybe it's in the book somewhere.
