Foreword:
"Jen Reyneri is a writer, artist, creative genius and dear friend. She writes with a passion that is palpable. Jen and I are moon sisters. We live on different coasts and have vowed that when we see the moon, we pray for each other- and text a photo on an especially magnificent night. I have smiled many times looking upward and praying for my friend, her husband, and boys- my God sons. I consider it pure joy to recommend this book. As one who has lived the "Game of Life" garden metaphor with Round-Up in my right hand for many years, I know all too well that if we live life to destroy we will in turn be destroyed by it. Jen's heartfelt poem is a call to arms for all of us to reclaim our lives through God’s love. We reap what we sow and sow we must, sans weed killer."

Author's Note:
Since being crowned Poet Laureate in my second grade class, I internalized a deep passion for all things poetic. With the blessings of my children, Makani Kai and Luke Ezra- I have given myself permission to step into my life's most creative role- Mommy. When looking on the reflection of my life, I finally realized the joy in sharing the puzzle of words and imagery I have been able to capture along my journey, and assembling it into something beautiful. Now is my time to dust off the journals on my shelf and start sharing these dreams with you. It is my prayer that this simple rhyme touches your inner child and asks it to play- and you say YES!
