I have been involved in drawing, painting and photography since I was 7 years old. The drawings and paintings I produced tended to be photo-realistic in nature. The transition from pencils and paint to film and photographic paper was completely natural for me. My photographs are primarily in black and white and have been for many years. I thoroughly enjoy portrait and still life photography and challenge myself by playing with composition. I’m still a painter at heart. It has only been recently that color has entered my photographic work. The digital camera and computer technologies have opened new doors regarding my color photography. It has been one of great pleasure thus far.
