In the spring of 2007 rock icon Don Henley encouraged his friends
in the band Chicago to perform at a fundraiser for a Dallas school.
Chicago entertained with a song list that spanned four decades of classic
rock "big band" hits - a genre they virtually defined.
I had the pleasure of photographing the evening's performance of this seminal American band. Their music has survived vinyl, cds, and digital downloads and truly supplies an emotional soundtrack to so many of our contemporary lives. It's never too late to rediscover the proud instrumentals , haunting melodies and heartfelt lyrics of Chicago.
