About the Book
Like the traditional ‘Panorama’ a 'Bokeh Panorama' is an image created from multiple photographs stitched together. ‘Bokeh’ describes the aesthetic of the blur in extremely shallow depth of field images. This combination emulates extremely large sensor cameras or large aperture lenses that would be just as extremely large, heavy and expensive if they existed. The results can be surreal and add a new perspective to many scenes.
This book is mostly a showcase of my favourite examples that show some of the possibilities of this technique. It also contains advise about equipment, hints about workflow and helpful diagrams.
These images tend to look better the larger they are so they are presented here on the largest format Blurb has available (30x30cm).
