About the Book
This book features images spanning over a decade.
I try to portray people in different situations as true to themselves as possible. I try to get them to lover their shields, or to raise them to such stupendous heights that they still reveal what is most essential.
To aid me in this goal, I have used at least 20 different cameras and many different methods of shooting. From very formal and ponderous, to fast paced informal snapshots.
Sometimes I just fiddle with the camera and take pictures of something else for so long, that the actual subject forgets that I’m there. Usually though, I just try to be very fast and act natural, so that they wont even notice that their souls have been stolen…
